The Efteling - colorful in autumn
One of the most popular autumn activities in Tilburg (and the surrounding area) is a day at Efteling. Less than half an hour from Hostel Roots, you'll find the Netherlands' most famous amusement park. Go on safari - right in Brabant! In Safaripark Beekse Bergen you can walk, drive or sail past elephants, lions and giraffes. You will feel like you are on another continent. The park is large, so you can easily spend a whole day there. In the summer there is also extra entertainment such as feeding times and interactive shows. Perfect for a day out in Tilburg and surroundings.

Festival Summer - Dancing in the Sun
The southern Netherlands kicks off its autumn break on Friday, October 10th, with the northern and central Netherlands following suit on October 17th. Tilburg and the surrounding area offer a wide selection for a few fulfilling days away.
