Photo exhibition by Tilburger Bas van der Burgt

From Friday April 26, the work of photographer Bas van der Burgt can be admired at Hostel Roots for 2 months. Our city is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for this Tilburg citizen.

Bas van der Burgt views the city much as you view a person, sees its age and rejuvenation, sees how its ugliness and beauty coincide. For Bas and Roots it is a logical collaboration: the hostel shows the 'roots' of the city to their guests through the Tilburg Theme Rooms and murals. Bas's works are a good addition to this. The series of photos exhibited in Hostel Roots is a selection from the photo book “Tilburg, is not ugly!” The book is available for inspection here and is now for sale at Hostel Roots and soon also at Gianotten. The exhibition is accessible to everyone. Photographer Bas will be present at the opening itself this Friday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The exhibition can be seen until Friday, June 21.
