Serious Request DJs in Roots Tiny House
3FM Serious Request is coming to Tilburg!
No more Glass House; 3FM Serious Request Lifeline is experiencing its first edition this year. Three DJ teams will walk across the country from December 18 to 24 to raise money for three charities in collaboration with the Red Cross. On Thursday evening, December 20, between 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM, Tilburg welcomes DJs Jorien Renkema and Rob Janssen. They walk a route from Weert to Utrecht in support of charities: protection against natural disasters, resuscitation in the Netherlands and emergency aid in war and conflicts.
Route through the city center
On Thursday evening, December 20, Jorien and Rob will walk a special route through the city center of Tilburg during a live broadcast. The route starts on the Spoordijk, where the DJs are received with, of course, a Schrobbelèr. The route then runs via JP Coenstraat, Sint Josephstraat, past Poppodium 013 with a short surprising stopover, Korte Heuvel and Heuvel and ending with a warm welcome on Piusplein. The DJs have been invited by Hostel Roots to spend the night in it Tiny House in the Spoorzone.
Collaboration with the catering industry
The Ondernemersfonds Binnenstad Tilburg, Citymarketing Tilburg and Schrobbelèr have joined forces to give the DJs a warm welcome in Tilburg. In collaboration with catering establishments along the route, a special campaign has been set up to raise a fantastic amount for charities. From December 13 to 20, the full proceeds from sold Schrobbelèr will be donated to participating catering establishments. entirely for the benefit of Serious Request. On the route itself, donations are offered to the 3FM DJs on behalf of the participating catering establishments and squares.
Festive finale on Piusplein
Everyone is welcome to cheer on the 3FM DJs along the route and end the evening together on Piusplein. There will be live music on the square from 7 p.m. Councilor Erik de Ridder will welcome the DJs there later in the evening, after which there will be an opportunity to offer them donations.
